APS DPP 2025: Student Day Tutorial Talk

I was honored to give the tutorial talk at APS DPP 2025 Student Day, titled “Plasma Physics: From A-Z”. The event is designed for undergraduate and graduate students to familiarize themselves with the types of research they should expect to see at the conference. My tutorial talk covered terminology found in general plasma physics, experimental and computational plasma physics, fusion, low temperature plasmas, and astrophysical plasmas!
2025 Physics and Astronomy Congress (#SPSCon)

I was honored to speak on the Engineering Graduate School Panel at the 2025 Physics and Astronomy Congress in Denver, Colorado, hosted by AIP and the Society of Physics Students/Sigma Pi Sigma Honor Society (SPS)! I would not be where I am today without my alma mater’s local SPS chapter, and it’s always a privledge to give back and de-mystify the not-so-scary journey from Physics to Engineering!

I attended the CU Boulder - RMACC AI Workshop: it was very helpful to learn more about AI, discover resources for teaching and research, and talk with other researchers and educators interested in AI. I especially appreciated the emphasis on teaching AI literacy to students!

AIAA Brings “Good Vibrations” to GESTEM

I volunteered with the Rocky Mountain section of AIAA at the Girls Exploring STEM (GESTEM) event! We hosted a workshop titled “Good Vibrations”: an acoustics-based activity where students learned about the physics of sound through wind chimes. It was awesome to connect with other members of AIAA while giving back to the Denver community!
Honors Alumni Speaker Series: Charting Your Course through Undergrad
